Homecoming was yesterday and it was AMAZING! For the day activity we went to the zoo with like half the baseball team as our group. It was really fun (: Me and Jake were a little early so we went to the "This Is The Place" monument for a little bit. Everything at the zoo was way expensive food wise so we left and ate at Cafe Rio. mhhmhh! I loved it! Next i was dropped off and got ready, nothing too exciting. Then we went to Olive Garden for dinner and it was fun. A lot of inside jokes not understood, but other than that it was enjoyable. I got zero compliments on my dress from anyone in my group but i had at least 7 people in Olive Garden say that they liked it. Which was awesome! There were only 2 girls in my group dressed modestly and i was really proud of both of us for sticking with our standards. It is really hard to find modest things and especially modest things that are cute. But it is possible! Dont push your standards away for one night. It's not worth it. After dinner Jake took me to the dance and it was probably the best dances yet! I am not a good dancer at all... probably the worst of all time actually haha But i just dance silly and then noone knows that i cant really dance.. they just think that i am being funny. It works really well! We didnt even have to wait in line for pictures because when we got there our group was already at the front of the line! wooh wooh. After the dance we went to Classic Fun Center and it was FUN. Just like the name says. Everyone was having fun jumping and skating and it was a good activity. By the end of the night i was pooped and ready for bed! And that is how my homecoming dance played out.
